MGA captured our requirements in a design that we are delighted with and then working pragmatically to find ways to achieve the desired outcome

ARCHITECTS
We know that engaging an Architect can be a step into unfamiliar territory for some people so we try our very best to make it as easy as possible.
Some Frequently Asked Questions:
How much does it cost for an initial consultation?
We usually recommend an initial telephone conversation to discuss the project and your requirements, followed by a meeting. We don't charge for the initial consultation. After the meeting, we will write you a letter outlining how we might approach the project and the likely costs for doing so.
How long is the whole process likely to take?
This depends on a few factors such as whether the proposals will need planning permission (normally 8 weeks) or Listed Building Consent (6-8 weeks). The design process prior to an application can take anything between a few weeks and a few months depending on how complicated the design is.
How will I be charged?
Depending on the project and the level of service, we either charge on an hourly rate or on a percentage of the construction cost - we will tailor the arrangement to suit the individual client and project. We invoice monthly.
Is our project too far for MGA to travel?
We work all over the North West and occasionally into the North East, the Scottish Borders and North Wales. It often depends on the size of the project and the level of service required.
I am interested in Renewable Energy but confused by the technical jargon
We can offer our clients impartial advice on green technology and which (if any) is right for a specific site and building and we partner with established and well respected local specialists to fully integrate a wide range of renewables into our projects.
