Designing in a National Park

MGA were delighted to be able to help a great client to obtain planning consent for a contemporary extension to an existing property in the Lake District National Park. We took an holistic view of the house layout have proposed the relocation of the main kitchen / dining room to the lower floor to enjoy a better relationship with an external sun terrace.

A combination of vertical timber boarding and lakeland stone, with glass ballustrading to a new first floor balcony will provide a great new gable projection, creating a much more enjoyable family home.
