On a quirky, urban renewal site in South Lancaster, MGA helped this repeat Local Authority client to bring a derelict stone garage building located in a conservation area back into use as a purpose designed, fully accessible property, complete with in-roof solar panels and an air source heat pump. The existing traditionally constructed building was extended with 2 contemporary larch clad interventions, working around the existing roof canopy. The project won an LABC award in 2024.
