This small but beautiful project added a modest rear extension to a traditional Listed stone cottage, with a contemporary twist. Whilst the new extension needed to be carefully designed to retain adjacent pre-existing historical windows and features and with an open glazed corner, we were able to create the sense of openness in the new kitchen dining room and the beautiful courtyard garden beyond.
