Mason Gillibrand have been working with a local developer on the conversion and adaptation of Backbarrow Ironworks, a well known Scheduled Ancient Monument in Cumbria. The result is a stunning contemporary home in the former charcoal store.
MGA have worked closely with the client and Lake District National Park Authority and Historic England to ensure the careful retention of precious heritage elements whilst ensuring the building has a new use.
